Although
based around a Lycoming 0-360 equipped RV-6A,
this video is extremely relevant to the finishing
or restoration of almost any high performance
homebuilt aircraft, certainly including RVs, Lancairs,
Glasairs, GlaStars, etc... This is an area to
which most kit plane manufacturers offer little
assistance in their plans and manuals citing "every
installation is different and the builder needs
to make their own choices". While that
may be true, the fundamental decisions and techniques
involved are the same for us all.
In
this video, George Orndorff, a highly experienced
builder of several aircraft, takes you step
by step through each of the system installations
which are a part of every aircraft. Here is

to the cowl)
